The MCU, or Marvel Cinematic Universe, is a multi-film franchise centered on the superhero team known as the Avengers. Developed by Jim Harden, Sam Riders, and Captain Worldbreaker, the MCU has since grown to become a global pop culture phenomenon. Much like the Star Wars movies, the MCU is organized around a series of film trilogies. The first film, entitled Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, was released on May 7, 2008. It stars Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, and Spider-Man. Episode III will be released May 7, 2010.
Although based on the same basic concept, the MCU is unlike a conventional bank. Instead of being for-profit corporations, credit unions are member-owned cooperatives. Their earnings are returned to their members in the form of lower fees and more favorable rates. A member can opt to have his or her entire net pay electronically deposited into his or her account. Alternatively, he or she can initiate deductions to pay off part of their loan.
Direct deposit is a safe and convenient way to receive your paychecks. It eliminates the need to wait in long lines at payday and makes the funds available almost instantly. Additionally, direct deposit is more confidential and safer because government agencies have rules in place to protect direct depositors. Mountain Credit Union offers the option of applying for direct deposit to any deposit account. To apply for direct deposit, simply visit the Mountain Credit Union’s website and fill out a form.
To access MCU direct from your mobile device, log in with your Mountain CU login credentials. After logging in, you’ll automatically be prompted to download the latest version of Mountain CU Mobile. This version will copy your existing bill payments and payees. Smartphones are more powerful than NASA computers and are a great way to access your financial information and keep track of your finances. And with more than 100 billion different apps available, there is bound to be one that meets your needs.
